Star of the Week 03.10.2025
WK 03.10.2025 – Celebrating our Attendance this week!
In today’s Assembly we have celebrated the Star of the Week and Attendance.
Attendance This Week
We aim for every class to reach at least 96% attendance, in line with national expectations. This week, a special well done goes to our Year 1 (Miss Christopher’s class) who has achieved 97% attendance this week. We would also like to mention Reception (Mrs Jones’s class), Year 4 (Mrs Kan/Mr Hays’s class) and Kingfishers (Miss Johnston’s class) as they have achieved 96% attendance.
Thank you to all our families for continuing to support excellent attendance — it really does make a difference to children’s learning.
Tiny Acres Foody Friday
Our youngest learners in the Tiny Acres (2-Year-Old Nursery children) enjoyed making a special Autumn treat, apple flapjacks on Foody Friday! Chopping, mixing and tasting….yum!
Reception – child-led learning
A wonderful example of child led learning – team work to create a castle and den with crates and planks then our bridge became a counting bridge!
Reception class – Stanley’s stick creations
After looking at our story of the week ‘Stanley’s stick’ we went on a stick hunt to find our own sticks and then decorated them. We have transformed our sticks using our imaginative ideas into flags, brooms, fishing rods and even an Egyptian mummy!
