Today our wonderful Nursery and Reception children took to the stage for their Christmas Nativity, and they were absolutely amazing! We are so proud of each and every one of them, and it was lovely to welcome parents, carers and family members to share this special moment with us. Thank you for joining us and supporting the children.
We are delighted to share with you that this year’s Pantomime is Jack and the Beanstalk. This is possible thanks to our parents and families generosity and support towards all FOAH’s fundraising events.
What a magical morning at Acre Hall! Our KS1 children shone brightly in their Christmas performance today, delighting parents and families with beautiful singing and confident acting.
Our wonderful SSC classes — Robins, Kingfishers and Owls — took to the stage for their Christmas performance, The Fleet Force! Parents, carers and family members filled the hall, and the children absolutely shone. With confident singing, brilliant acting and plenty of festive cheer, they delivered a performance that made us all incredibly proud. It was a joy to see so many smiles — both on stage and in the audience! A huge well done to all of our performers and a big thank you to families for joining us and supporting the children.
Our Coloured Raffle Hampers are ready! Thank you to all the kind donations towards this. Parents can still buy tickets for this until Friday 12th December. Winners will be selected and announced on Monday 15th December in our school assembly!

Every school day counts! When children attend regularly, they make better progress, grow in confidence and build strong friendships. Below is the impact of time missed:
95% attendance = 9 days missed
90% attendance = 19 days missed
85% attendance = 29 days missed
Even a few days off can make it harder for children to keep up with their learning.
We know children can sometimes be unwell, but please ensure they return to school as soon as they are able — and try to arrange appointments outside school hours when possible. If you are finding attendance challenging, we’re here to help. Please speak to the school office for support. Let’s work together to make sure every child gets the very best start by being in school, on time, every day. 
Community Events – Please see attached information from Trafford Library regarding a creative writing session that is happening at Woodsend Library and is a free, family-friendly activity to generate some creative content around the theme of Winter.
