Our Nursery and Reception children had a wonderful visit today as part of their Supervised Toothbrushing Audit. The session was led by the Oral Health Improvement Officer from Trafford, who worked closely with our Early Years team to support and promote good oral hygiene practices.
During the visit, the nurse delivered an engaging toothbrushing demonstration using visual resources and model teeth, helping the children to understand the correct way to brush their teeth. The children also enjoyed listening to a story focused on dental health, which supported their understanding of why brushing regularly is so important. This was a valuable and interactive learning experience that encouraged the children to develop positive oral health habits from an early age. We are proud of how well our children participated, listening carefully and showing great enthusiasm throughout the session.
We would like to thank the School Nurse for supporting our Early Years provision and helping to promote healthy routines that will benefit our children both in school and at home.
