Year 5A have shown incredible kindness and leadership by organising a fundraising initiative to help homeless people. The pupils designed their own posters and donation box and encouraged the school community to contribute to their cause. They carefully discussed how the funds could be used to make the greatest impact, deciding to donate part of the money to charity and use the remainder to purchase essential items such as food, drinks and clothing for those in need. We are delighted to share that they raised a total of £55.72 through their efforts. This project was a wonderful example of pupil voice, teamwork and social responsibility in action. The children demonstrated empathy, creativity and a strong sense of community, embodying the values we promote at Acre Hall. We are extremely proud of Year 5A for making a real difference and showing such compassion towards others.
