In today’s Assembly we have celebrated the Star of the Week and Attendance. Attached is a list of all the Star of the Week winners for each class.

We aim for every class to reach at least 96% attendance, in line with national expectations. This week, a special well done goes to Year 2 (Miss Southwood’s class), who had the highest attendance percentage for last week with 98.8% attendance. 

Thank you to all our families for continuing to support excellent attendance — it really does make a difference to children’s learning.

Thanks to the generosity of our children and families who have supported us today, we have raised a total of £95 for McMillan Cancer Support! A big thank you to everyone who has donated today.

We love seeing our children enjoying our Reading Buddies sessions during lunchtime! Our pupils have the opportunity to spend some of their lunchtime relaxing with a good book, reading together, sharing stories and supporting one another with their reading.

It’s lovely to see children from across school coming together, building friendships and developing their confidence and love of reading in such a calm and welcoming environment. A wonderful way to spend a lunchtime at Acre Hall!
