Celebrating 15 Years of Bright Futures Education Trust

This year marks a very special milestone as Bright Futures Educational Trust celebrates 15 years of supporting schools and communities.

At Acre Hall Primary School, we are proud to be part of a Trust that is committed to providing the very best opportunities for children, supporting schools to thrive, and working collaboratively to improve outcomes for every pupil.

Over the past 15 years, the Trust has grown into a strong network of schools united by shared values and a clear vision for education. Under the leadership of Lisa Fathers, Bright Futures continues to focus on delivering high-quality education, supporting staff development, and ensuring that pupils across all schools feel safe, inspired and supported to achieve their full potential.

Being part of Bright Futures means our school benefits from shared expertise, collaboration with other schools, and the collective commitment of leaders and staff who work together to improve learning experiences for all children.

We look forward to continuing this journey as part of the Bright Futures family and celebrating the achievements of the Trust and its schools both now and in the years ahead.

Congratulations to Bright Futures on 15 successful years!

Our Reception class Kindness Walk

Our Reception children enjoyed a very special learning experience this week as they took part in a Kindness Walk in the local community. The children visited a local supermarket to buy flowers and then thoughtfully shared them with members of the community. This lovely activity helped the children understand the importance of kindness, generosity and caring for others.

It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they interacted with people and spread smiles along the way. We are incredibly proud of our Reception pupils for representing the school so beautifully and for demonstrating such thoughtful and compassionate behaviour.

World Book Day Bookmark Competition Winners

To celebrate World Book Day, pupils from across the school took part in a creative Bookmark Competition. We were delighted to receive so many wonderful entries and would like to thank all children who contributed their fantastic designs.

To ensure a fair judging process, the competition was judged by Nani Pat, who kindly acted as an impartial judge. After reviewing all of the entries, three winners were selected: Early Years Winner: Grace S (Reception); Key Stage 1 Winner: Evie P (Year 2); Key Stage 2 Winner: Nancy (Year 4)

Each winner received a voucher to spend at a bookstore as a reward for their creativity and effort. Well done to all of our winners, and thank you again to everyone who took part in celebrating World Book Day with us.
